The Bagpipes are well known as an emotive musical instrument bringing a pleasant and rising melody to any celebratory event such as a Wedding or Birthday. They are an excellent way to welcome or bring guests together.

During sadder occasions the bagpipes are often played at funerals to mark someone passing; traditionally a lament is played before during or after the service.
